Finally at 3 O'clock the temple curtain tore into two and Jesus cried out, "Father, into your hands, I commened My spirit" and He died. At last, His agony was over, His work was finished. He had drunk the cup of suffering to the last drop, purchasing salvation for the whole of mankind.
Prayer
We are your Blessed saviour, whether we live or whether we die. in Baptism, we agreed to be Yours in time and in eternity. May we be made dead to sin and alive to God with You.
O blood and water which gushed forth from the heart of Jesus as a fount of Mercy for us, we trust in You.
( We adore thee, O Chirst, and we bless/parise thee.
Because by thy holy cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.)
