Jesus was thrown onto the cross and nails were driven into His hands and feet. how it must have hurt Him each time the soliders hammered the nails which ripped through His flesh and bones. Yet, He never uttered a word, He bore everything silently, for He was doing the will of His Father in Heaven.
Prayer
We give you thanks and praise dear saviour, for submitting willingly to suffering and death for our sake. We bless your precious cross by which joy and salvation came into the world.
( We adore thee, O Chirst, and we bless/parise thee.
Because by thy holy cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.)
