JESUS IS LAID IN THE SEPULCHRE
A good man, Joseph of Arimathea, asked for the body of Jesus, wrapped it in a shroud and placed it in a tomb which had never been used. Jesus's still, lifeless body was now laid to rest and the entrance to the tomb was closed.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, may we always continue in the strength which comes from our hope in your mercy, goodness and love for us.

Because by thy holy cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.)
