Jesus comes face to face with His Beloved mother. What thoughts must have crossed their minds at this meeting? what sorrow must our blessed mother have felt on seeing Her Beloved son whom she had given birth to and nourished and cared for, in such a terrible state? She knew He has innocent, he did not deserve such cruelty meted out to Him, but she also knew that He had come to do His Father's will and was encating out his Father's plan of salvation for mankind.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, may your mother and ours remain always a sure hope and comfort for us your pilgrim people.
