As our Lord walked along carrying His heavy cross, at some point of time, the weight of the cross must have been too much for Him; and He fell. How that fall must have hurt Him. His already bruised and battered body, must have been bruised and battered all the more. but did he just lie there wallowing in "self-pity"? No, He slowly raised Himself up; picked up His cross and continued His tortuous journey.
Prayer
Be with us always, Lord Jesus, despite the weakness of the flesh, may, we never waiver inour loyalty to you.
( We adore thee, O Chirst, and we bless/parise thee.
Because by thy holy cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.)
