On reaching Golgotha, Jesus was stripped of His garments and His clothes were divided amoung the soliders. imagine Him standing naked in the sight of all the crowed who gathered there, stripped of His last shred of dignity. What must He have felt, this meek "lamb of God"?

Dear Jesus, stripped of your garments in the passion, bless allour efforts at purification and renewal.
( We adore thee, O Chirst, and we bless/parise thee.
Because by thy holy cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.)
